 What is Twitter? Twitter is an online service that makes it
possible to publish content to any most popular of blog modules and phones that
can receive text messages simply by by using
the SMS feature on your phone. It will
not only send a text alert out to your friends but also post the entry on your
blog. Just answer one question: “What are you doing?”
You can keep in touch with a friends and family and post to
your blog at the same time. From, “I
left to eat in Jose with Jenny” and “I am taking a web design training course
with Nikos” to “I am looking at Rahan on the TV” or "I'm drinking a mojito
with John” Twitter can keep everyone and
your blog up to date all at the same time.
 With Twitter, you can connect with your friends and your
blog in several ways. One, you can publish
tickets on “your twitter website”.
Second, you can send them via text message or SMS from your cell
phone. The third way you can update and
publish with twitter is via instant message systems, such as GTalk or
Yahoo.
Sometimes this service can be a bit quirky but look hard
enough and you are sure to find tons of widgets out there to get Twitter to do
just about anything you want. The
possibilities with Twitter are endless and now you have the possibility to use

Now that you have had a chance to see what we can do with a
Joomla template via our Template Club, we would like to show you some of the
customizations that we have done for our clients. Below you will find three examples of ways we
can take a template and customize it to fit perfectly with our client’s specific
needs.
The Musashi template was customized to compliment this
martial arts website a dual purpose. The
first purpose and entry point was directed towards the Aïkido's world and the
second point of entry was for the trade of Japanese swords.
 
Sport’s Web design has been adapted for a
french website on Football news.

Clocking machine is a template dedicated to blogging or
content management websites. The look
and feel is light and cool, but it's main advantage is that it changes
throughout the day! Like a normal day, you will have sunset, sunshine,
etc..
The direction of the
template is simple. If your visitors
consult your website in the middle of the night, the background adapts in a
nightly environment. At 1 PM in the afternoon, your visitors will have a large
blue sky and a radiant sun to greet them on your site, (4 changes are
available).

In developing modules for
Joomla!, it happens sometimes that you need know the ID or the title of the
module you are working with. Knowing the
ID of a specific module can be useful if you ever need to recover information
that is file dependent. You can do this with the standard function most people
use: $params->get (my parameter)
This function makes it
possible to obtain the personalized parameters of the module.
