Title: Configuring Application Forms- Help Please! Post by: Eadaoin Ni Neill on April 05, 2007, 03:25:24 PM I have just bought NeoJoomla, and installed it.
What I would like to do is configure both the job application form visible to the site users, and the new job offer form on the back-end. For example, in the new job offer form on the backend, I don't need the 'studies level' 'number of jobs' or 'experience' fields. And, on the job application form the site users fill in, I would like to edit/ remove some fields also, for example, the mandatory fields for 'studies levels' and the 'zip' field (not relevant in Ireland). Many thanks in advance. Title: Re: Configuring Application Forms- Help Please! Post by: Raphael on April 06, 2007, 08:54:04 AM Hello,
In the current version of the component, you can't modify the offer form in backend. In frontend, in the application form, you can hide the fields "CV" and "Covering letter", in the tab "Params". I know I can hide the CV and covering letters, but is there any way I can modify the code to remove the fields I don't need? I can live with the backend limitations, but would prefer to edit the front-end application form.... If I can even stop them being required fields? It looks a bit unprofessional when the drop-down option in a required field is simply 'Not Applicable'... Thanks.
