Title: Where can i change the Tiny MCE editor from Advanced to Simple Post by: Alex Nicholas on January 14, 2008, 05:02:10 PM Hi,
I want to change the TinyMCE editor that Neorecruit uses from "advanced" to "simple" (I.e I dont want the full set of buttons displayed). Can someone please point me to the correct file that I need to access to change this? Ideally i want to keep the advanced TinyMCE editor for my normal joomla admin console, however for the front end neorecruit Tiny MCE editors, I want these to all be simple. Thanks, Alex Title: Re : Where can i change the Tiny MCE editor from Advanced to Simple Post by: Raphael on January 15, 2008, 09:29:43 AM Hello Alex,
You can set your editor to "simple" or "advanced" in the mambots manager, but you will have to use the same functionalities in the content and in NeoRecruit. It's not possible to use 2 different "versions" of the editor on your website. But you can use 2 different editors if you want, and set the simpler to the frontend users. Thanks for your reply. I like your suggestion of using two different editors - an advanced one for the Joomla admin console and a simple one for the NeoRecruit front end. Can you advise how I actually can do this and use one advanced and one simple editor on my site? You need to install a new editor, in the mambot manager. You can found a large selection on joomla.org for example. Then, you can select a default editor in the global configuration of your site, and set for each user the editor you want, in the user details.
