Title: Question about categories
Post by: Richard Steur on April 20, 2008, 11:40:00 AM
Hi,

I'm looking for a joomla component/module which can use categories for a client of me.
So NeoRecruit should be the one. But i do have a several questions:

1. I understand you can create categories, but is it possible to use provinces as main categorie and when you click on one of them see the places in the province with the jobs? Like this:

Flevoland  - Almere
                 - Lelystad
                 - Emmeloord
and so on.

2. The site will be there only to show the jobs. The jobs will be show for about 4 weeks. Can the jobs be deleted automatically after 4 weeks?

3. Is it possible to remove the "apply-section" with a job? as told earlier the jobs are there only to be shown. People must apply to a job them selfs and the information about how to apply will be in the advert.

Kind regards

Richard

Hello Richard,

1. Yes, you can define several levels of categories.

2. No, it's not possible for the moment. But we will add publication dates in the next version of the component.

3. You can't remove the form in the current version of the component, but it's possible to put it in "registered" or "special" access. An option will be add to be able to display or totally hide the form.

Regards,

Hi

Thanks for the answers, but i still have one question: I have several domains parked behind the main domain. Do i have to buy a licence for all those domains? and what if a domain is redirected to my domain.

Kind regards,

Richard

Hello Richard,

You just need one licence.
