Title: Cannot set authors Post by: Colton Jamieson on May 12, 2008, 11:56:45 PM I have gone into the Configuration page for NeoRecruit, and I am getting an error at the top of the page... The error is as follows...
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /path/to/joomla/libraries/joomla/html/html/select.php on line 68 When I scroll down and look at the "Authors" field... there is no groups to select. I am using Joomla 1.5 with the community builder extension if that makes any difference. Title: Re : Cannot set authors Post by: Raphael on May 13, 2008, 09:28:28 AM Hello Colton,
We did some modifications on the component for a full compatibility with Joomla 1.5.X. So I sent you the beta version of the component NeoRecruit 1.4.5 by email. Title: Re: Cannot set authors Post by: Colton Jamieson on May 21, 2008, 09:25:24 PM Hello Raphael,
I am having some difficulties here with NeoRecruit. First of all, I see no modules for the menus. According to the following page, there is supposed to be three modules... http://www.neojoomla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=124&Itemid=69 * NeoRecruit Latest Offers, the module of hte most recent offers, * NeoRecruit Categories, the module of the categories tree, * NeoRecruit Menu, a menu towards the component main page, the search form and the unsolicited application form. But, the only one of these that I can see as being installed, is the Latest Offers. The other two are unavailable. When trying to create a new offer from the administration panel, I cannot find any way of managing the Contacts. This results in me not being able to create an offer. Can you please provide some information on this Contact field that will help me successfully create an offer? If I go into the Add New Offer page in the administration panel, when I do the following, the form is reset, and a javascript error occurs. 1. Fill out the form, EXCEPT the "Job beginning" field. 2. Click on the "..." button beside the "Job beginning" field. 3. Select any date by using a double click (which doesn't actually work, because the "Job beginning" field just gets populated with "y-mm-dd" instead of the actual date selected). 4. Click inside of the "Job beginning" field to put the focus in the input field. 5. Click on the "..." button beside the "Job beginning" field again. When I do step 5, a javascript error occurs, and the entire form is reset. This is the error reported by Firebug... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- b has no properties http://www.mydomain.com/media/system/js/calendar.js Line 14 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- For users creating their own job offers from the front end, I see no way of doing this at the moment. Is this supposed to be in one of the modules which appear not to be installed? or is there something else I need to do in order to get it working properly? I set the authors field in the config area to the group I want to be able to add offers, but nothing appears to have changed, and I see no way of getting to a page where they can add the offers. These problems have caused NeoRecruit to basically be useless to us right now. I would appreciate any information that could help resolve these problems and make the product useful to us. I am actually kinda disappointed in the lack of documentation available as well. Maybe it's hidden somewhere that I could not see, but I was not able to find any useful documentation to help setting up NeoRecruit. Thanks, Colton I sent this via email two days ago, but have not received a response yet. The one who made the purchase which I represent is very unhappy with the lack of contact/support and is thinking about returning/scrapping this product if something does not happen soon to resolve the afore mentioned issues. I will also have to write some bad reviews if this happens to be honest. Title: Re : Cannot set authors Post by: Raphael on May 22, 2008, 08:53:52 AM Hello Colton,
We are working on the problem and we will publish a new release before the end of the week. Regards, Title: Re: Cannot set authors Post by: Z T on May 22, 2008, 05:05:24 PM I just wanted to express my frustration with the module so far and Joomla 1.5. Things don't work (authors being blank, etc). I really wish this would get fixed ASAP as this product says it is 1.5 compatible.

When you set the author for example: manager then i as an (super)administrator cannot make offers anymore! Only the author set is working NOT the level higher then that! Greetings Erick Title: Re : Cannot set authors Post by: Raphael on May 29, 2008, 08:49:58 AM Hello Erick,
