Title: Unsolicited application - what`s it good for ? Post by: lostmail on December 04, 2008, 07:25:46 PM Unregistered Users can send an "Unsolicited application" -well - I know what that is.
But: Where does it appear ? Should a User not define for which category he sends an "Unsolicited application" It arrives in backend but it is not acessible or to search in frontend and without any category... What should I do with these entries ??? I´m still wondering how this software is working and how the access is restricted for unreg. users, reg. users, administrators.... Is it a must to set "Recruiters" which can register themself, too in backend with a higher level so that they have more rights than other registered users (Job Appliers) ??? You can select in the configuration of the component to allow all the recruiters or only the backend recruiters to consult the unsolicited applications. And we added an option "Unsolicited application" in the category select list to filter the applications. And then, I think the better solution is to not give the registered members a recruiter access. Like this, you can control who can post offers and who can consult the applications. You can select the authors from example, or only backend users for example. Regards,
