I have neorecruit v1.41 installed on 3 client sites running Joomla v1.012. When clicking on the neorecruit links in the control panel area I'm asked to login again. Has anyone else experienced this?
Update: Of course I figured it out after posting. I was logged in via URL http://example.com not http://www.example.com so the cookie was not set for the domain that the links were linked to based on the live site URL.
When ordering NeoRecruit for 3 domains will I get 3 NeoRecruit Component files or one that will work with the 3 domains specified at the time of the order?
To be clear, in order to have the script work for example.com and www.example.com, What site domain do I need to give when ordering? Also specificial what particular case is an exception?
Okay if it cannot be done, it cannot be done. However, the stories and articles were in reference to using Neorecruit's tools for a Magaizine editor. Someone who manages a magazine in print or online. The thought was to use Neorecruit to promote and manage submissions of stories.
Neorecruit can be re-branded and sold as magazine editors tool. It could have a larger market than just job recruiters.
When I go to register neoRecruit it asks for the the website. If I put in example.com will this work for both example.com and www.example.com? I bought another script for surveys from iJoomla and they use Ion Cube too. However, they give you one copy for your development server/domain and one copy for the live site. They aslo let you choose which sub-domains the script can run on. Can you do this too or do I order for the BETA server and put in a support ticket for a new version for the live site when?
I just posted this to the genreal discuss forum. I did not see until now:
I was wondering if I had a client that wanted to use NeoRecruit for more than one application on the same site. For example, they want to create a job bank. NeoRecruit is an obvious solution. But I can see them asking if NeoRecruit can be applied to managing article submissions for their magazine for diferent editors. The editor would post the story type they are looking for with all direction they care to give and then solicit stories from their audience or a group of writers.
How difficult would it be to run 2 copies of NeoRecruit or could NeoRecruit be split by categories so these areas can be completely separated?

I'm looking at the eval version. When in the back end in the application sections where you review people that apply, Some of the buttons are french. Specifically 'Répondre' and then if you select 'Répondre' the next button 'Envoyer' is also French. Can these be chagned in the language file? I'm guessing but does Répondre' = 'respond' and 'Envoyer' = 'Send'?
If this is just a language file issue then how do I keep any corrections that I would make from updates overwriting it.
Also is it possible to have the dates display in MM/DD/YYYY instead og DD/MM/YYYY?
On the sid of this coin, I'm very impressed by NoeRecruit.
I'm going to answer my own question here. I download the evaluation version and installed it on the beta server. First attempt to run NeoRecruit threw an error. I did NOT have IonCube installed. I downloaded IonCube unpacked it the root of the public folder and it all works now.
That sounds great. The server that we are using for beta testing only has Zend Optimizer on it. I understand that it is encoded with Ion Cube but will it run with Zend? Or can Zend and Ion Cube be running on the same server? I want to make sure that we have our requirements down before commiting.
I tried emailing some pre-sales questions 2 days ago for client and have not heard back. Is the contact form monitored for email requests? One of the questions was about how responsive neojoomla is to email and forum requests. I did not receive a copy of the questions but Her is a short verion:
1) My clients sites , they ave 3, are current on a BETA server using a subdomain like BETA.example.com. They will be move to there beta server then moved to a live server. Will NeoRecruit be able to mvoe rfrom server to server. I saw some complaining about there copy of NeoRecruit not working after they moved it or it was sent with the correct domain info.
2) Will NeoRecruit work with Zend Optimizer or does it require specifically Ion Cub?
3) Do you have another more responsive support options than email and forum? Like I said I tried to contact NeoRecruit on thrusday and have not heard back as of yet. The client was hoping to get a quote by end of day Friday. We have missed that date now.
