Hello!

I purchased NeoRecruit a few months ago, and now I would like to upgrade to version 1.4.

How I must do it? Uninstall and reinstall from Joomla admin or uploading all contents directly to server?

Hello Xoxo!

Yes, there's 2 solutions:

1. Uninstall and reinstall the components, the easiest solution, but you'll lose all your offers and applications.

2. Update all the files on the FTP server, you need to replace all the files, expecting the folder "files", which contain the CV and the cover letters. You 'll need to update the database too. Please contact us if you want to upgrade your component with this second solution.

Hi I would like to utilize the 2nd options to upgrade.  I've got many offers out there which I do not want to lose by performing the 1st easy upgrade (at least that's what I gather from your email that if I un-install and re-install, I will lose all my offers).  I don't want to lose anything.  Could you kindly get back to me and let me know how I can perform my upgrade so as to not lose anything.

Hi Raphael,

Is there something similar you can do for us (if needed)? We have NeoJoomla 1.4.1 running (though it shows 1.4), and I'd like to upgrade it to 1.4.2. If there are no database changes I can just upload the files?

Yes, there are no database changes. You just need to update the files by the 1.4.2 version ones, on your FTP

Yes, from 1.4 to 1.4.2, or from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2.

You mean the "patch" ?

There's no patch to upgrade NeoRecruit from 1.4.2 to 1.4.3. You just have to replace the files on your FTP server (in frontend and in backend).
