Default or Remove fields
«

I would like to be able to remove the Experience / Studies Level / Job(s) available fields.
I would like to have value of Job(s) available default to 0 if not entered, so doesn't show and also remove the column for it in the frontend.
I would like Experience + Study levels to default to an option, ANY. So dont' need to select when entering an offer.
Any ideas welcome.
Mike.

Hello Mike,
These modifications are possible, but they need to edit a lot of files, in frontend and in backend.
We will add the possibility to display or hide each field in the next version of the component NeoRecruit, and to set each field as required or optionnal.

Any chance of telling me which files to modify.
I am sure I can figure it out.

Hello Mike,
I can tell you how to modify the component, yes, no problem.
But what do you want to do exactly? Remove the fields or just change the default values (for the select lists)?
For the number of jobs availables, you just need to set the value to 0 in the form and the line will not appear in frontend. Edit the file front.offer_array.html.php to delete the column in the list.

I also would like instructions how to change, add, modify current fields to different names and variables. I would like to build a question form for the legal field. Customers would submit their case descriptions (I would have questions in place of the current job fields) and then submit. Attorneys would then log in to the system and review these case submissions and contact the client with their bid proposal.
Please email instructions to
fbeier@dynamicwebs.com
- I would like to review the complexity before purchasing.
Thanks,

Hello Frank,
Do you want edit a lot of fields in the form ?
First at all, you can download the evaluation version, take a look at the sources of the component, and try to edit the code yourself, we'll give you some help if you ever have a problem.
We can also send you a quote for a custom work, and edit the component NeoRecruit, or develop a new component personally adapted.

Hello Raphael,
I have a legal directory that I'm building. I would like to use your program with modifications to accept legal cases from prospective (employers) clients to be reviewed and bid by the lawyers (employees). However, I need to change the form fields to ask generic legal questions. For the most part I was hoping for the ability to add my own fields and hide fields I don't want to use. I was also hoping it would be possible to create a unique form for each category. Let me know if this might be possible and a ball park cost to configure the software. Please provide me a direct email address and I'll send a list of field requirements.
Also, I would like to make the submission form for resumes (cases) public. However, I would like only the lawyers to be able to search the postings for bidding.
Let me know your thoughts. Email me directly at
fbeier@dynamicwebs.com
.
Thanks,
Frank
