Question I am working on now is - how to publish the searchform on my homepage. Is there a simple way to get this done in a module position?

Hello Frido,

There isn't any search module, but a search form in the component. You just need to add an URL link in one of your menus, with this link : index.php?option=com_neorecruit&task=offer_search.

Thanx for the quick reply - I was really looking forward to being able to offer my users a (advanced) search of jobs on the homepage...
as for that matter am i looking for an advanced search in general without having to 'build' it myself ...

You're looking now for a global search system? The Joomla search component is not suitable for you?

Well, I would like to expand the search featuresof the global search if possible - just haven't found the right way to do this. It is of topic but if you have suggestions I would love to hear them!
