I uninstall the evaluation version and install version 1.4.3, when I try to create a category the system shows this error:

Notice: Undefined variable: menutype in /var/www/vhosts/.../administrator/components/com_neorecruit/tasks/admin.category_list.php on line 19

Notice: Undefined variable: limistart in /var/www/vhosts/.../administrator/components/com_neorecruit/tasks/admin.category_list.php on line 52

The rest of the component seems to work ok

I am having the same problem. I have just purchased and installed version 1.4.3 and I get the following errors in the "Categories list" section:
