Hello folks!

Im very intresseted in buying this module but I dont see any form of compatibility with UTF-8. Is there a solution for this?

Hello Jaap,

The component is compatible with UTF-8. The encoding of your web site is defined in the template, and the component doesn't change this setting.

I have the same problem with Arabic translation, my whole site is using UTF-8, and we have joomfish also , only neorecruit is not accepting displaying the translation normay, I have every thing  written with question marques Huh??.

Need a help plse.

You only have this problem with NeoRecruit? And with the text from the database or the language file?

Sorry to get time to reply to this thread.
I still have the same problem as before, when I translate the offers or categories through Joomfish to Arabic, I have the following charcaters, my website is UTF-* and those characters are neitheir ISO , window 1256 or UTF-8:

"�د�ر ا�ح��� ا�ت���ة �ا�حاسب ا�أ�� "

What version of the component are you using? Did you try the last version, NeoRecruit 1.4.4?

Ok,

Please download the version 1.4.4, published a few days ago. You can get it from the menu My Orders > My Files. This new version is compatible with UTF-8 characters.

You will just have to replace the component files by the new ones, no need to modify your database.

Should I uninstall the component first using joomla uninstall tool, or I just upload the file using FTP?

If you don't have a lot of offers or applications in the database, the better solution will be to uninstall NeoRecruit 1.4.3 and then install NeoRecruit 1.4.4.

Dear Raphael

I upgrade to 1.4.4, and I upload using FTP all files in their original place, the one for administrator into administrator panel and front end into public folder component, same I do for mambot and module and I change the .tmp file within these two to .xml.

but still the languge is showing characters errors.

If I uninstall it using Joomla, how can I preserve the sent applications and if possible the offers.
