Hi,

Can you please confirm that the Wedding Time template is available as Native 1.5

If it is, I'm joining straight away as it is exactly what I need for a site I'm doing for some friends who just got married!!

Hello Paul,

Our templates are Joomla 1.0.X templates, they can work in legacy mode, but we're actually working to convert them in 1.5.X.

Thanks for the update.

This brings two more questions then ...

1) Any idea when this conversion will be complete and this particular template is 1.5 native?

2) As a Joomla newbie (though with extensive other experience) will setting legacy mode (to use your Wedding Time template) affect the ability and functionality of switching between this template and other 1.5 templates already installed on the same site at a later date?

1. Sorry, I really can't give you any delay. I just can say that a new template will be published in the following hours, in two versions : 1.0.X and 1.5.X.

2. The legacy mode will not affect the 1.5 templates, it "just" could slow down your website.

Any update on when the Wedding Template will be available in v1.5?

I have just joined and downloaded the template.

I enabled legacy mode and the template still does not work. In fact the website doesn't work when The Wedding Template is my default. I also had to create a dummy params.ini as this is not in the download.

Is it possible to get some assistance with this?

Hi Chris,

I have just install WeddingTime template on joomla 1.5.4 and it works correctly. Verify the chmod settings on our folder.

Thank you for your reply. I have checked the permissions and the weddingtime folder has read and write access. I doubled checked by setting permissions via ftp to 755.

I have changed hosting providers and there is no longer an issue.

The hosting provider that had the issue was running Windows 2008 Server and using IIS7 whereas new provider is on Linux using apache.
