Would it be better to redefine Categories to Sections with their own categories in it?
I was playing around with the component and I could make a category stay under itself; doing so totally mixed up the header of the site templates. I had to de-install the component and install it again. Providing Sections can protect us against this...

Hello Jos,

Sorry for this problem, this is a small bug. We will correct it for the next release.

But we will keep the system of categories, because of the sections and categories system is too restricting. You can't just have one level of categories, or more than 2 levels with the sections. You're obliged to place the offers in categories, and the categories in sections. We think this is an important default with Joomla, and we want to propose more possibilities in our component.

But a system is as strong/weak as it's CMS. Isn't it dangerous to interfere with the CMS structure by forcing a component to do otherwise?

Hello Jos,

We don't interfere at all with the system of sections and categories of Joomla, because we developped our own system of multi levels categories for NeoRecruit. So, no, it isn't dangerous at all.
