email-neorecruit settings
«

Would somebody be able to let me know where neorecruit sources the email from to send the 'unsolicited application' and 'apply to offer'.
I am a bit confused as can see nowhere in neorecruit backend to set the neorecruit email different to the joomla site admin email.
when sending using either send button the onformation is saved in neorecruit backend but is not being sent by email, or not received anyway.
This may help -
in backend if i open up a candidates details, submitted from the front end, then click on repondre there is no from email address only this -
From : []
Also in case this helps
html for send button =
<input type="button" class="button" value="Send" onclick="verif();"/>
Value =
<?php echo _NEORECRUIT_SEND; ?>
is this correct?

Hello Iain,
There are 2 differents cases :
• when a candidate applies for a job, the details are sent automatically to the responsible of the offer (a user).
• when a candidate leaves an unsolicited application, the details are sent automaticaly to the global site admin email.

manyy thanks for clarifying this for me. (& I would think many other users)
It would be an extremely good improvement though if one could choose which user both or either of these were sent to as the site admin may not be the person who is in the office collating the new cv,s and the same for applications.
This would also apply if an employye had posted many offers but then left the company.
So that any offer could be re-allocated to any other user.
Maybe this could be included in the next release?
Thanks again
Iain

Sorry I have just found out that reallocating an offer is possible in 'manage offers'
Would still be good to be able to choose which user to send unsolicited applications to as well though without changing the global admin email each time.
Thanks again
