Help, Please! Problem with 1.4.5 when clicking on configuration

I am running NeoRecruit (May 2008) 1.4.5 and when I bring it up and goto Configuration and then type some text in the box and change the color to #8a2be2 and save it. It automatically rewrites it back to a color of #00a220. I would like to know where I can either hard code what I need or have it fixed ASAP. This is annoying and IS a neorecruit issue as it does not happen on any of my other pages in Joomla 1.5.
thanks!

Hello,
You only have the problem with the color field ? Are you able to save the other fields ?

Yes everything else seems fine. It just appears to be with the Introduction text in the Configuration area. I also noticed that if I put quotes or something in the Introduction text it also changes it to \" which looks funny when you look at the page. If try going into the HTML source from the editor and changing it their it also just reverts back. Ideas or at least a place (hard code) to fix.

Hello,
I just did some more tests, and these points work correctly on our demo website. You maybe can simply add a function "stripslashes" on the text in the html file to solve the problem of '\'.
And did you get any error message when you save the form? Maybe a JS error?
