Hi,
I have my wedding time site up and running. Everything looks great on it, except that the title is not displaying. Originally i thought it was just an issue with flash, so i modified templateconfig.php to use the HTML title. This did nothing. I then tested that it was picking up my changes in templateconfig.php by disabling the templatechooser option. This worked. So I am some what baffled by why it is not displaying.

There is no error message in my log files. I have attached what the site looks like, quite bizare.

It is running on unix with apache 2.2.9. Joomla v 1.5 and I am running the Wedding Time download from July 07.

Just a side point, is it possible to remove the page titles? I have disabled these in both the page parameter locations.

Fixed.

Turns out the templatewritetitle.php file wasnt finding the parameters from templateconfig.php. So I just editied templatewritetitle.php to contain the title and subtitle I need and it worked.

I am having the same problem as Chris.

My title and subtitle have been changed in my templateConfig.php file but nothing is happening.

I am not exactly sure how Chris went about solving his... What was done in the TemplateWriteTitle.php to achieve this and on which line?

Could Chris or someone patiently explain what was done...showing the codes and what was taken out/added would be greatly appreciated.

I figured it out:
On line 21...
you will see the following code:
      $flashParams = '?sTitle='. $template_title .'&sSubtitle='. $template_subtitle .'&sColor=';

Put your title after ?sTitle=
and subtitle after: &sSubtitle=

You should be fine

I had the same problem. This is the BEST solution:

Add this line:
Code:
global $template_title, $template_subtitle, $template_color;

on the top in templateConfig.php   

Reason: This will initiate the variables as global. This will bypass your PHP.ini settings.
