This article is not directly related to the webdesign under Joomla! but
it concerns every graphic designer interested in
photography.
And specifically the video noise and the
chromatic aberrations rendering on a great number of middle range camera which results from a high sensitivity of the sensors (on average
400 ISO) and which appears in the dark zones of the pictures. With
the arrival of the numerical reflex cameras the case is almost not
posed, except if you work with sensitivities superiors to 800 ISO or
objectives of series sold with the camera.
Many softwares makes it possible to mitigate these
effects of chromatic noises, which draw towards the reds, the blue ones
or the greens, with the detriment of the clearness of the image. This
technique which consists in applying a Gaussian blur to the
image.
The tutorial that we will see allows to decrease the
noise of your photos in a very fast way and easily scriptable
under Photoshop.
Once your photograph open in Photoshop, select the background and convert it into copy.
To duplicate the copy then and place it at the top. It is this 2nd copy which will use to us to attenuate the chromatic aberrations.
Define the 2nd opera hat under the mode of fusion Color.
To then apply a Gaussian blur to this same copy.
Proportion the adjustment of the blur according to
the dimension of the photograph and avoid a too great loss of the
colors. On average one proportioning between 2 and 8 pixels proves to be sufficient.
Amalgamate your two copies with the order To flatten the image and record the whole.

The difference is not enormous but we can distinguish that certain aberrations disappeared.
